PIANO-FORTE
The Piano-Forte (soft-loud) is known in modern terms as the piano. With the advent of electronics, the different variations of piano style instruments are often referred to as keyboards. Due to a hand injury, I teach beginning students the basics and what I call "rhythm piano". In "rhythm piano", you'll learn how to play chords and bass lines that will allow you to play the background to your favorite songs so that you can get out of the shower and sing for your family and friends. Well, if you don't sing, maybe your family and friends can help you out. It's a lot of fun and it's taught from the perspective of a guitarist. As a matter of fact, it was called "strumming" in college. Additionally, I'll take you through scales and a lot of theory and history.
