JR'S JAM SESSION

      

     

             

        

     

My friend, JR, has been putting on a jam session once a month starting in May in Golden at his home for the past five years. The sessions have lasted sometimes into November if the weather permits. Lots of players came by to perform. My students were always welcome and it was a nice venue to listen to some good tunes and maybe try out that hard song you'd been working on. Participants ranged from beginner to pro. It made for a great afternoon. If you listened carefully, you might evenhave heard a Harley-Davidson or two. Unfortunately, this October 2008 was the last session. It's mighty tough to sponser a monthly event. My applause to JR and his wonderful wife, Jackie for their hard work.
